Vollkaskoversicherung (CDW) – Selbstbeteiligung je Fahrzeugkategorie

Die CDW-Versicherung reduziert Ihre finanzielle Verantwortung für Schäden am Mietfahrzeug. Die Höhe der Selbstbeteiligung hängt von der Fahrzeugkategorie ab.

• A, A1 Category €700 excess
• B, B1 Category €800 excess
• D Category €1000 excess

A valid credit card in the main driver’s name is required and the cardholder must be present. The corresponding excess amount will be pre-authorized as security. Subject to any amount properly due under the rental agreement, the pre-authorization will be released after the vehicle is returned and inspected; your card issuer controls when the funds become available again. We may refuse vehicle handover if the required pre-authorization cannot be secured, unless another arrangement is agreed in writing.

Included Insurance Coverages

• Deckung für Personenschäden Dritter – Deckt Personenschäden Dritter bis zu 1.300.000 € pro geschädigter Person.
• Deckung für Sachschäden Dritter – Deckt Schäden am Eigentum Dritter bis zu 1.300.000 € pro Unfall.
• Fahrer-Unfallversicherung – Deckt den Fahrer im Falle eines persönlichen Unfalls, vorbehaltlich der Versicherungsbedingungen und -grenzen.
• Diebstahlschutz für das Fahrzeug – Deckt den Diebstahl des Mietfahrzeugs ab, vorbehaltlich der Versicherungsbedingungen.
• Feuerversicherung – Deckt feuerschäden am Mietfahrzeug ab, vorbehaltlich der Versicherungsbedingungen.

Theft & Total-Loss Excess

For a valid covered theft or total-loss claim, your maximum liability is limited to the applicable vehicle-category excess: A/A1 €700, B/B1 €800, D €1000. This limit applies only when you notify us and the Police immediately, obtain a police report, return all vehicle keys and documents, and comply with the rental and applicable protection conditions. If these conditions are not met, the protection may become invalid and the full loss may be payable.

Was nicht abgedeckt ist

Neither CDW nor FCDW covers:

• Tires, wheels or rims
• Mirrors
• Windscreen or window glass
• The undercarriage
• Interior
• Clutch or other mechanical damage caused by misuse
• Lost, stolen or damaged vehicle keys
• Vehicle documents, licence plates or accessories
• Persönliche Gegenstände
• Wrong fuel
• Smoking
• Sand, salt-water or extraordinary-cleaning damage
• Damage from floods, storms or falling objects, except where coverage is required by law

Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

Loss of CDW/FCDW Protection

CDW/FCDW protection does not apply to damage or loss caused or contributed to by any of the following:

• Verstoß gegen die griechischen Verkehrsregeln
• Verstoß gegen die Mietbedingungen
• Fahren unter Alkohol- oder Drogeneinfluss
• Beförderung von mehr Passagieren als erlaubt
• Transport illegaler oder gefährlicher Gegenstände
• Benutzung durch Personen, die nicht im Mietvertrag aufgeführt sind
• Rennen, Abschleppen, Überladung oder illegale Nutzung
• Verlassen Kretas oder Nutzung einer Fähre ohne schriftliche Genehmigung
• Fahren abseits befestigter Straßen, an Stränden, auf Sand oder Bergwegen
• Failure to lock or secure the vehicle properly, or parking it illegally

If any of the above causes or contributes to damage or loss, CDW/FCDW protection is void. You bear full financial responsibility, without benefit of the CDW/FCDW excess limit, for all resulting damage or loss, including reasonable repair or replacement costs, towing, recovery and loss of use. For any accident, theft, hit-and-run incident, vandalism or significant damage, failure to notify us and the Police immediately and obtain the required official report also voids CDW/FCDW protection for that claim, and you bear the same full financial responsibility. All liability remains subject to applicable law. Compulsory third-party motor insurance is unaffected.

• Verkehrsstrafen: Sie sind für alle Bußgelder verantwortlich, auch wenn diese nach Ende der Mietdauer eingehen.
• Fuel: Return the car with the same fuel level. No refund is given for unused fuel. Missing fuel is charged at the applicable fuel cost plus a refuelling service fee.
• Return Time: You must return the vehicle at the date and time stated in your booking. A delay of up to one hour is allowed. Delays exceeding one hour without prior approval will result in a full additional rental-day charge.
• Unfälle: Im Falle eines Unfalls:
  • Rufen Sie uns und die Verkehrspolizei (100) sofort an.
  • Do not move the car unless required for safety, traffic flow, or by the Police.
  • Sammeln Sie Namen und Adressen aller Beteiligten.
  • Do not arrange repairs without our approval.
  • Wenn der Vorfall nicht ordnungsgemäß gemeldet wird, können Sie vollständig haftbar gemacht werden.
• Roadside Assistance: 24/7 roadside assistance is available. Contact us immediately and follow our instructions. Assistance or replacement for a breakdown not caused by the renter is provided subject to availability.

Additional Charges & Payment Authorization

• Extraordinary Cleaning: Heavy dirt, sand, salt water, smoke smell, pet hair, stains, or odors will incur a cleaning fee based on the work required.
• Keys, Documents, Plates & Accessories: Lost, stolen or damaged vehicle keys, documents, licence plates or accessories are charged at actual replacement cost, including necessary programming, coding, transport, delivery, recovery and related loss of use while the vehicle is immobilized.
• Administration: An administrative handling fee may be charged for each fine or claim.
• Payment Card Authorization: Where a payment card has been provided, you authorize us to pre-authorize and charge that card, including after the rental ends, for amounts properly due under the rental agreement. These may include the applicable excess, uncovered damage, missing fuel, extraordinary cleaning, keys, vehicle documents, licence plates, accessories, fines, administrative fees, loss of use, and losses resulting from a breach of the agreement. For post-rental damage charges, we will provide an itemized explanation and available supporting evidence.

Mietdetails

Stornierungen:

• Cancellations received at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time receive a full refund.
• Cancellations received less than 24 hours before pick-up and no-shows may be charged up to one rental day.
• No refund is provided after vehicle pick-up or for voluntary early return.
